If there are a lot of slackers you might wanna let Round 2 (or 3/4) be the first round. A round is not a proper round with at least some participants disqualified! :P

Actually I was considering submitting two tracks (one using a seecret alt ;)) but then decided against it, since it'd be unfair if both of my songs got through and some unlucky chap got disqualified because of my misdemeanours. :(

Wait... a synclisten? Beware... that's all I'm going to say... beware... I didn't make my song with rendering in mind this go round (just like some of my OHC songs and maybe even my 48k Spring Tracks entry, which sometimes end up overkill in length due to how slow it fades out in addition to something else coming in just prior to the fadeout, which is intentional on my part. Either that, or I add something to the second loop that a one-loop render will never catch.).

Rendering is ten times worse if I infinitely increase the tempo (100 times worse if you're using OpenMPT... cue evil smiley face. Why? Because you can break the 255 tempo limitation, meaning you get even more tempo insanity.) or if I near-endlessly increase or decrease the pitch in a loop.

I actually have never heard of an .xm file trying to pull this off, actually, if only because I don't make those type of files by default. However, very early on in my tracking career (this is way back in 2006), I did make a test .xm file. It was just a test, though.

round1alt.xm threw me for a loop because none of the samples survived in their original form. However, I determined that boomy (maybe in slightly distorted form) played the psuedo-pulse wave, while breath played the role of noise, which is probably how those samples were produced. I myself am getting a bit swamped by real life... thankfully I can also produce my music pretty quickly.
