Interesting, but I'm confuzzled...

"Entrants must submit original music Mixes and will be expected to recreate all of tracks live sans sequencers, except for drums (which can be looping when track/beat is playing). Any entrant that deters from said format in creating of tracks/beats will be disqualified."

yeah, it's a bit convoluted...

especially the line "sans sequencers, except for drums"
"sans" is the french word for without.

so that line actually translates to "Without sequncers, except drums"

Maybe "sans" means something else in hip-hop-ese.

I'm bettin that if judges like your track, that's all that matters.
