I don't think it matters what you do! I know I need to make the decision fast. If I do do it, I'll be focusing on lyrics and song writing. 10 tracks in 28 days sounds liek caek!!

i'm doing RPM challenge. i'm not really sure why there are two separate almost-identical write-an-album-in-february events.

what benefits does the site (or the rpm challenge for that matter) offer over just Writing An Album In February?

and which is better out of those two?

i think the main appeal for most people is the extrinsic motivation. RPM challenge is 10 songs or 35 minutes; FWAM is 14 songs. i don't know about FAWM but for RPM people listen to your thing at a listeney party and it goes on an online radio thing (amidst thousands of other albums). maybe that is a benefit?

For some reason I thought FAWM was only 10 songs. I'm prolly wrong. I have no idea about the listening party either. But people will review your work (especially if you review others'). FAWM typically gets more music than you could possibly listen to in February without sleep.
