I was thinking about competition recently and maybe it could be possible to enter compos without ranking?

It may be possible already, but i may have overlooked that. Yea you can just ignore ranking, and maybe it is enough!

But maybe there could be an option to submit non-ranked entries too, that are submitted to the compo just to celebrate the topic, the creativity and whatever reason.
OR (probably a much better idea, thx mirageofher and gravitybreak.media) there could be zen compos that are here just for sake of meditation on some topic, exploration etc. Maybe, no strict deadlines, ranks...

Personally... Well, at some point competition fueled my own musical development, sometimes it discouraged.

But hey competition works! I am just saying that it maybe would be fun to try other type of compos :)

this exists on gravitybreak.media! it is a battle mode called a mosh. instead of fighting one another, the participants fight a common enemy !

I'm not sure how that would work in terms of badge progress, but it's an interesting idea. I could see it existing as an extra boon cost when hosting a battle, like how disabling latist penalty works.
