retroarch with sameboy core

I have done a lot of testing on this a couple of years back, I can confirm that retroarch with sameboy core is the best option, albeit a little bit of a pain to install and configure. The only other emulator with accurate sound emulation I've used is lemuroid which is much easier to set up, but I have had issues with save data (auto save is bugged and I had troubled transferring save files between my phone and PC)

thanks for this, nice to know there have been legends that have gone before me looking into it. yeah I don't want to have any save or lsdjprj extraction issues later on down the line so best I start with retroarch+sameboy core as mentioned

Delta is another decent one. You may have to look a little bit through your file directories, but it’s plenty capable, especially if you want buttons to press on your screen that actually look like a Gameboy.
