i dont know how to download, or even use for that matter, Tracker software. i want to try using it more, because i wanna make more "authentic"chip music

any advice?

theres many kinds of trackers out there, some are easy and some are hard. i believe Famitracker (or its fork, Dn-Famitracker) would be a good start for you, as it was for me. if you wanna know more, the Lyceum has plenty of information about tracking, aswell as BoTB itself, which is a place you can use to hone your musical skills.

downloading trackers is easy, the Lyceum probably has info on how and where to download them.

using trackers can look very daunting at first, but once you get used to one, its a smooth ride ahead. it might even make you never wanna touch a piano roll again...
