thank you all for going on this adventure with me! some of you really went above and beyond, doing recon, diplomacy, tactical planning, everything. it was kind of amazing. whew, i can't believe this thing went on for four days, jesus, i never want to see another pixel.

as of this writing, the castle of BotB/Maj7 is complete. now all that is left is to survive the final day.


our maj7 extension has been demolished, we should be able to get it back up and running at some point today. botb is still doing okay. it ends tonight


we were able to save our neighbors from the lattice by building a protective membrane, and also help the maj7 server build an adjacent fort, which was then swallowed up by poorly rendered gacha character. but the lattice is at heart a benevolent beast, and after our negotiations, we were allowed to rebuild maj7 on our north side.



emergency relocation has occurred, because american flag went insane and gobbled us up.

the place has greatly expanded. a new fort will be constructed. or at least attempted.




as of this writing, fort botb still stands, and at full hp. we are at peace with both belgium and hololive. if we remain reasonably vigilant, long term survival could be possible, though it is not guaranteed.


i have to pass out now but it appears that though maintenance may be impossible, we WILL be able to achieve our primary objective. all glory to the botbuh !!

we have been in negotiation with Belgium, who said we should take the perfectly sized plot at 302,758. we are now relocating there! but things are not looking good. vtubers are turning that zone into some blue and white nonsense. we cannot seem to make progress!

it has come to my attention that reddit will be doing another "r/place" on the first of april, a friday. it's a large collaborative (read: competitive) pixel mural where you're allowed to place a single pixel every ten minutes, at least that's how it worked last time iirc.

we should try to establish a foothold for botb; we might just have enough firepower, collectively, to maintain it. maybe. probably. just have to make an account, and stick with it throughout the day. easy

my idea is "botb flag with 2px black outline", like this https://piano.works/botbflag.png ..though idk if we'll have the right colors. we could do something else too.

edit: lincent said reddit was evil and is a conscientious objector. i will not hold it against anyone if they too object to reddit's evilness, which i do not debate

I'm not a frequent social media user, but reddit still seems really "clean" compared to other places such as twitter...

tbh i hate reddit as well as most social medias, cuz they have really predatory practices against their users, but since i already have a reddit and there's nothing wrong with advertising BotB in this fun lil thing, why not :)

actually, come to think of it: wouldn't it be awesome if BotB did the same thing on here sometime? 👀 can you imagine how cool it'd be to do an experiment like this in a community full of artists? although i'm not really a fan of the idea of covering one's art with another's art, but; if you couldn't modify someone else's pixels, maybe?

hecc, we could even collab on a single music track like that, kinda like it happens in Gartic Phone or in YTP/YTPMV collabs: one starts a song, then another continues it, then another one continues it, and so on and so forth until somebody wraps it up, and then users can vote for each segment of the final product, kinda like SoundCloud lets you comment at whatever time you wanna.

I know, I have a hyperactive imagination, lol, but it's cool to think of stuff like this imo

how i totally agree and understand @gaetano96 , @wizardmusic and @lincent ... - i use to try all social networks around, and i found out reddit as one of the very worst (toxic...) social networks around (even worse than vkontakte, which is actually another story...), starting from one of its main (indeed) misfeature of having 99.99% of all interesting threads there being closed for discussion (so what is the point of starting a thread there anyway, we wonder... :S ) - besides of this, it is indeed great each one thankfully could help spreading everywhere how cool botb is
