The ailment I received a few weeks ago was legitimate and justified, even though my actions were accidental. That was my 130th hosted battle (on this account, at least) and the first time I was ailed during my stay here in the last two years. Always tried to make sure that I was fair and made the right decisions.

I host battles primarily for fun. But in order for them to be fun, I must make things easier for everyone, including for myself. Unfortunately, this means having to go as far as blocking a fellow BotBr if I have to.

Having someone upset me while I am in the middle of my hosting duties with disrespectful and insensitive remarks, on multiple occasions, gives me a bad aftertaste and makes me feel less welcome on the site. This should also be a concern for admins to take seriously, because a host is as vulnerable to toxic behavior as anyone else. Telling the offender to stop, at the very least, wouldn't have hurt.

If offending someone is not one's intention, it's common sense to not say things that can be misconstrued as offensive. Especially not towards someone you have had multiple episodes of bad interactions with.

From now on, as soon as the entry period of my battles is over, I will have to determine a (hopefully reasonable) timeframe for anyone who wants to vote to please do so within that timeframe. I will close voting immediately afterwards. If you missed voting, I'm sorry. Try to be around earlier, preferably shortly after the entry period is over.
