Less than a month left until it's December again!
And that means, it's also time for another BotB Advent Calendar!
Unlike last years, it seems like we won't do this as OHBs, but as a Major Battle!

The current plan is the following:
- We will start with Format 1 on Dec 1st, the entry period is 24 hours.
- When the entry period time is up, the format is exchanged with Format 2 and the entry period is set back to 24 hours.
- repeat 24 times

The days will have different bitpacks (either samples or text rules), but you vote on them together in a big 2 weeks voting period after Dec 24th!

This stuff needs some adjustments to the current battle engine, which means: if there are any problems (or the battle cant be hosted as a major for any other reason) i'll go back to the usual OHB-style!

html/css or html5 because advent websites ftw. maybe photomash as well if we make a good pack for it. don't really mind what else goes into it other than that

my favourite is vgm format, specially when made with converters, generative tools or edited from hexdumps (working on registers and delays directly on the file) - would be really cool seeing "unusual" vgm chips (and unusual chip combinations) around here - nodebox and shoebot competitions on visual would be also excellent! ;) - and what about hydrogen percussion competitions as well?

I think this is a neat, varied list of formats. It's highlighting the most common formats on weekends and keeps "similar (sounding or workflow) formats" apart from each other by a few days/weeks.

(Christmas/Advent-Themed rules are cooler, but doing 24 days of christmas-themed entries would be boring, i guess, that's why other ideas are welcome as well!)
