Last night I was voting on an OHB. I had already saved a set of votes when a late entry was submitted. I reloaded the page, selected a vote for the new entry, then clicked "save".

What happened was the page popped up a white dialog box that said "woot", and then the page reloaded. My new vote had not been saved. (I believe Savestate had a similar experience in the same OHB.)

Saving a second time committed the vote correctly (no woot). Wondering what this woot business is all about.

First of all, it's a "w00t" not a "woot". ;P

I looked at the code and this error alert happens when the battle_id in the URL does not match the one set in the POST. Unless people are manually manipulating something, I have no idea why this would happen naturally. I could simply remove the check, but it's there to reduce hanky panky with BotB. :(

Yes, I figured it was some kind of assert. I definitely wouldn't remove the check, but I guess we must be on alert for more mysterious w00ting!!!

I don't think so... ? I have adblock, I guess. Is that "weird"?
