failure_supreme, you could either rip a nsf from it and upload that, or upload it at wildchip
though if you *really* cant rip a nsf from it (like ripping spc from games that use sample switching techniques to overcome the 64kb limitation), then i (personally) wouldnt see a problem, since its still technically an authentic nes tune. but dont take my opinion for that, talk to puke or someone who'd know the proper answer
I am highly tempted to do a .nes file one day once I get to do custom sound code. The reason is because I'm interested in a technique that utilizes the IRQ for when DPCM samples are on their last byte.

mk7, gbs for Gameboy is preferred. If you want to use anything like hardware trackers even SAV is better.
edit: reason being is that the format can then be verified and rendered on hardware. if you want to submit something without source or binary then feel free to use wildchip to submit mp3. :)
I might not make an entry at all. I'm currently constructing a new sound driver for myself. This is mainly because one of the soundtracks I was attempting has finally convinced me to jump the gun to avoid any additional wrangling (plus, the data format I'm going to create can cut down on wasted data from repetition, although your mileage may vary).
I actually attempted to do one back in 2014, but it was never tested, and a major misunderstanding with the PCALL opcode renders it unusable.

I recommend using a very plain-looking mushroom graphic (with a different coloring scheme and perhaps something that looks liker it came straight out of the NES), unless you have other ideas for a NSF classic icon.
I'm actually not interested in that format, citing lack of variety of music that I could make on my end.
@KungFuFurby - updated the nsf_classic icon to be an original make mario big mushroom using the NES palette, it's shaped a bit differently than our other nsf icons....
I have my audio equipment in working order again and a laptop that doesn't overheat, so I can promise that everything about the stream will be at least 23x better than before !!!
for those who missed it, my old laptop overheated reallllly easily, so I had a box fan, my audio equipment wasn't working so I was using the webcam mic which is p sensitive, so the boxfan-to-savestate audio ratio was like 90-10. I also had to really make the stream p poop quality because it'd overheat with like more than 1 element on the screen at once.
i have a laptop with REAL specs and semiprofessional audio stuffs for my mouth to speak into so the stream will be pretty and my voice will not have to fight a fan haha
The kickstarter is now projected launch on Friday March 4th. Voting period for WCXI has been extended so the Reward Stream can be on the first Sunday of this timeline! SPAM!!!
Hmn, seems some make a thing out of voting on every entry... Damn, I CAN do that, but I don't know if i have the patience. Kudos to those who do! You have my gratitude. ;)
