Apologies if this has already been asked (or if it is already an option), but does BotB have the ability to send users emails when a new battle is started on the website?

For example, if someone creates a new battle, I would receive an email saying 'X user has created X battle. The bitpack is: 'xxx'.

This option would be toggle-able from your settings page.

Unless I've somehow been missing something for almost 3 years (which is highly unlikely in this case), we do not receive emails from botb regarding any new battles.

I dunno, mail notifications would be too slow. Usually battles start 3~5 minutes from being announced. There's Twitter for that kind of instantaneous action, although sometimes battles don't get announced.

I'd find this sort of thing pretty handy actually, especially if you could select which formats you'd like to be notified of

The only thing stopping me from enjoying such a feature is changing my account's email and I don't remember if I can do that :D

Push notifications - I'd be all over that! Especially for OHCs.
