I participated in the hour competition and my mix could be more solid.

Admins are able to replace renders for one hour battle entries, but not original files. Since the battle in question was a remix, my understanding is the original file is the same as what is played via the streaming function. I do see a button, as an admin, for me to upload an mp3, but I'm not sure what'll happen if I do it for a remix type entry. Any other admin (or puke) happen to have tried this before?

Personally, I think of it as part of the challenge of a time limited battle, that you're kind of stuck with what you were able to finish in the hour. Most people resolve this by simply posting a comment on the entry with their preferred mix, so then anyone browsing can check that out instead.

More or less we don't want to overwrite an original due to your personal preferences because it may not represent the song accurately as it was previously scored.

Feel free to upload your remaster at another location and provide a link in the forum post of your song. :)
