This can be fixed by clearing my cookies, but this is the only site where this happens, and it's been happening almost every day now. Is it a problem with the site, or is there something I should be doing about this on my own?

I have not experienced this. What browser and OS are you using?

I'm using Google Chrome 43.0.2357.65 in Windows 8.

Does it do the same with other browsers? I'm still runing 7.

While I can't confirm it doesn't happen in any other browser, checking it periodically in firefox over the past several hours hasn't reproduced it. I don't have any other browsers to check with.

I think google screwed up this new latest release of Chrome.

I use Firefox 38.0.1. Works fine for me.
