A '[[BotBr] earns Chipist points for involving him/her/themselves in BotB's ever-growing chiptune community. A BotBr's '[l[http://battleofthebits.com/lyceum/View/BotBr+Classes/[Class] will become Chipist when they have more Chipist points than any other point class upon '[[BotBr#Levels[levelling up]. A Chipist is represented with the following icon: '[icon[chipist]

As most of the '[l[http://battleofthebits.com/arena/Formats/[formats] offered on BotB give Chipist points, it is very commonplace to see a high-level Chipist on BotB.

'[#[Earning Points]
• Five (5) points are awarded for submitting any chiptune format to a major battle (e.g. '[[Winter Chip] or a '[l[http://battleofthebits.com/lyceum/View/OHB/[OHB].
• Several points are awarded according to how well the submission scored.
• One (1) point is awarded for each subsequent listen/donload of a BotBr's chip submission.

'[#[Losing Points]
• Five (5) points are deducted for resubmitting a chiptune format before the submission period of a major battle or a '[l[http://battleofthebits.com/lyceum/View/OHB/[OHB] ends.
