While writing the method "Working with WAV files", I had to remove parts of damifortune's original introduction as the guide was supposed to contain only the RJDPCM method.
I'll post it here because I don't like the idea to permanently delete original work:
This is a guide for creating a large batch of split DPCM samples (.dmc) for use in FamiTracker (or FamiStudio, but FamiTracker is used in this guide). DPCM samples can only be a little over 1 second long each, so if you want to import longer samples (for example to include an instrumental solo or accompaniment, vocals, or some other longer clip), this will save you the trouble of splitting them all up manually.
For this, you will need RJDMC (RushJet1's DMC tool). As of 6/13/24 the latest version is v1.53, which is mirrored ... [the rest is unchanged]
