While writing the method "Working with WAV files", I had to remove parts of damifortune's original introduction as the guide was supposed to contain only the RJDPCM method.

I'll post it here because I don't like the idea to permanently delete original work:

This is a guide for creating a large batch of split DPCM samples (.dmc) for use in FamiTracker (or FamiStudio, but FamiTracker is used in this guide). DPCM samples can only be a little over 1 second long each, so if you want to import longer samples (for example to include an instrumental solo or accompaniment, vocals, or some other longer clip), this will save you the trouble of splitting them all up manually.

For this, you will need RJDMC (RushJet1's DMC tool). As of 6/13/24 the latest version is v1.53, which is mirrored ... [the rest is unchanged]

I'm currently experimenting with it2nsf and I found out I made a mistake while writing the 'it2nsf specificity' part.

Actually I was able to play 1:30 minutes of audio because I used a wrong sample rate, so the audio was played at a lower pitch than it was supposed to. After switching from 44.1kHz to 33.144 kHz, the audio is played at a correct pitch but I can only load 1 minute of samples.

I'm trying to make a song for Spoopy 8 using it2nsf, I'll will rewrite the 'it2nsf specificity' part after this.
