awesome melodies. i think what excited me most was the porta sine lead early on, just cause porta is sort of a pain in msgs and it's cool to hear it done so well. it's cool how many different levels of energy are explored in the piece, it's quite dynamic indeed. the soft middle is such a cool contrast and it builds up organically into the proggy stabby finish. leaning on that less-than-a-semitone note shift is exciting too. whew! good midi!

@damifortune - leaning into the commatic shifts instead of avoiding them was def the main thing i wanted to explore here. i was surprised at how effectively a ~28 cent step could evoke semitone-ish motion (to my ears, in this context)
