an artist feels discomfort in populated areas, so they venture out into their preferred environment

- field recordings (duh)
- sytrus (basic additive patch)
- recordings of mandolin and accordion

prestune contributed part of the field recording pool as well as the instrument recordings, while i (luna) arranged the recordings and did the audio processing

this is my first collab - had a lot of fun with it, though i wish i had started it earlier to have more time for additional ideas, discussion and polishing

Thanks to Luna for collabing with me even though we were short on time! It was fun getting a few recordings and contributing to something ambient. I've never made anything ambient before so it was a cool experience.

i totally thought the footstep rhythm around 1:45 was about to give way to a beat drop with that as foley accompaniment - that segment was a really nice transition. i liked how the footsteps having reverb felt like the footstepper was walking into some other plane. i guess they ascended into an aviary. i could see this being the bones of a four tet or 65dos song
