I'm so glad this battle forced me to sit down with MuseScore... after some initial hurdles, it's really fun to work with!
For xylophone, vibraphone, piano and string quartet. Loosely inspired by the works of Steve Reich, Rachel's and Balmorhea.

Made using MuseScore Studio 4.6.2, with MuseSounds for each instrument besides the cello and contrabass.

rachel's and balmorhea mentioned. the latter were my favorite band something like 17 years ago...

I like the warmth that the string quartet brings to the ensemble of mallets and hammers. I wrote a piece for vibes/marimba/piano in college and thinking back this would be the best way I could've added an extra dimension to it. inspiring work - the minimalist style is extremely well done too : )

love how dynamic this piece is, always moving, teeming with life! I really like the modal shifts in the last part of the piece
