Behind us (me and the dog) is actually an entire baseball and softball complex for our community that has a path at its end that slopes down into this wooded area and spills out to the bottom of the park (pictured elsewhere on BotB).
We spend a lot of Saturdays here well before anybody comes to play, and I'm thankful that, even in a city with a heavy industrial past like Pittsburgh, we have green spaces to explore.
