Very ominous, I wish it built to something though. Even just a slightly different B section or something. Great job on the live playing though!

Nice atmospheric piece, I could see this easily being in one of the cutscenes in Hotline Miami! Creepy winter lol. I think you could still work on your timing a bit, it's pretty loose. Also you may want to focus on consistent velocity when plucking, some of your notes sound a bit shallow because you aren't applying that consistent pressure. So maybe just focus on trying to make every note sound clear, and get the timing nailed down. For the timing issues, some people recommend chewing gum to the beat, similar to how many people tap their feet. You can do whatever feels comfortable of course, but just try to get your timing as close to a metronome/sequencer as you can, and again make sure you are applying enough pressure on your fretting hand, as well as plucking with a consistent strength, to ensure all notes sound clean and full. Keep rockin kinkin.

i moreso like the (intentional?) randomness of the velocity and timing of the live bass playing.

if any enhancements to it would to be made, i'd suggest letting random notes get a massive reverb tail, phasing and such. good job overall :)
