what you're probably hearing is the result of passing a low-passed signal with high resonance through a bitcrusher. i synchronized the sample rate to multiples of the fundamental frequency via phasor~ and samphold~. there's also some FM synthesis + overdrive that achieves a somewhat similar effect.

those are the only two ways I know to do decent wobble bass lmao
