i didn't keep exact count, but probably between 10-14 hours. i work kinda slowly because i tend to micromanage. get loops just right and stuff like that. plus i hadn't picked up renoise in like a year...

i see what you mean about the intro, but i feel like the track would have been too dry if i just had the last 2/3rds of it. i don't know if anyone really noticed, but i felt like i kinda copped out on the drums. if i'd had time i would have tried to do something crazier... so my thinking was if the whole track was backed by essentially the same combination of 2 drum loops, i would've felt like the end product was too simplistic.

plus, i really liked that intro sample/melody, but it wasn't the right speed for the drum loop ;) also also, i think the drop sounds punchier after the really comically long space noise build... ;)
