When we feel hurt, it’s hard to know how to
respond. It’s especially difficult in a small and
tight-knit community; we all have the same
friends, and an interpersonal conflict can be a
serious problem when we can’t find a way to
reconcile with each other. The best option
seems to be to go our separate ways and live
in different fragments of the same community
rather than fighting with each other day after
day. Put space between us, pretend to live in
different worlds, just so we don’t have to inter-
act with each other. One negative interaction
will lead us to construct a barrier that we’ll insist
is necessary to maintain, even after years have
passed and we’ve become entirely different
people.

I think there’s no better feeling than letting go of
that resentment for someone. The relief in
reaching out to someone with their guard up,
seeking to understand, and realizing you have
a lot more in common with them than you
thought. A friendship born out of strife... it is
hard to imagine a more beautiful way for a
connection to sprout.

I think it’s important, as we need more and more
to defend ourselves, that we protect each other,
even those who we don’t get along with. There’s
a good chance there’s someone you’ve been
avoiding for a long time now. Maybe it’s time to
reach out and start again.

Marvelous and beautiful song, it made me feel a lot of emotions.
EDIT: so umm, today a friend i haven't talked to in a while that i had a falling off with a long time ago reached to me and wanted to reconnect, saying that she was sorry for the grudge and that she wanted to reconnect.
I felt like the world was being too nice towards me again, after all she had all the rights to hate me after what happened a long time ago; but she asked for forgiveness and she wanted our friendship back.
I thought that before today, it was established that i would never talk to her again... that it was all over, but thankfully she gave me a second change. I missed her a lot, and I'm really glad that she's back.
The events of today has a lot to do with this song of yours, and i now relate to it in a much deeper level. Thank you so much for making this wonderful music Telebasher, my words cannot fully express the gratitude and appreciation i have for this piece in particular especially after the new meaning i found within it.

I connect with this theme. Earlier this year in march, I had the opportunity to talk out my differences with one of my best friends. We were different. She was a completely different person from the friend I'd known, and it led me to hate her. But then when I found out we shared the same opinion about talking out our differences, we knew that's what we had to do right away, and it worked! I got my best friend back. And when it happened, I learned about a side of her that no one else could truly know, nor had they empathized with. It was a paroxysmal experience.

Now there isn't really a song that can capture how this feels, at least not unless it's combined with a video, but the emotion here is personalized, as if you, telebasher, were involved in that conversation of forgiveness. This is how your forgiveness sounds, and it's beautiful.
