noob question: was the refresh rate issue due to the mp3 conversion or is this due to an internal setting in the tracker? i am using an older build (v0.10) of deflemask for mac, if that helps!

oops roz got the comments backwards, see his post here, there wasn't an issue with the refresh rate on your entry, it was just marked illegal since the file type for this format is .nsf only, no .mp3s, although we do upload .mp3 renders after the battle's over. There shouldn't be an issue with using Deflemask by the way, you can export an .nsf using file > Save as ROM.
