but why do you think enemy spam and no clear direction is fun? i tried several times and it was just overwhelmingly unfun to get exposed to a big open space full of enemies without any actual goal.

It would've been better to submit the song by itself as MSGS MIDI, since it's indeed quite good. Instead, this entry feels like perfecting a sauce recipe only to serve it over a piece of concrete chipped off the sidewalk.
