Resubmitted to be just a little more puzzle-like since I felt like my original submission was a little too scrubby. I adapted some of the ideas into the top-down engine and made a little mazey thing. Original v0.01 submission available here for posterity: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1DO6WoJhR_HSW--pH6Iu6GmT-O8Xxvdfh/view?usp=drive_link

GB Studio seemed neat until I ran into scripting limitations (e.g. no collisions between player and other actors for platformer engine) that basically ruined my idea. I guess it serves me right for diving in without properly learning about the tool. Still kinda pissed about it though.
I didn't want to let the idea completely go to waste but there's no way in hell I'm figuring out how to work around the issues with barely any time left, so here's a facsimile of a pre-alpha demo. I like to think it's still *technically* a puzzle with what *technically* is a solution if you squint hard enough at it.
I included the project files too so you can witness the pile of spaghetti behind the game.
