As far as I can tell this is just a track in the music editor?
Perhaps the instructions were not quite clear, but I think we were supposed to make a cart that runs, but since this has no code (except for a comment) it doesn't run.
Anyway, perhaps not really following the bitpack but it's a nifty little song! I like the timbre of the high lead instrument that starts in pattern 06.
