exploring texture techniques pioneered by our very own robotmeadows on this song, which was the coolest gameboy song i ever heard when i first heard it a couple years ago and remains so to this day <3. i've heard a lot of super cool gameboy stuff but this one really takes the cake. it's so inspiring; i couldn't believe it! so in a similar vein, lots of instruments with tables full of Zxy randomization are used here for a "glitchy post-rock" type ambient feeling. it's never quite the same twice, but it's really all about the overall texture here. massive shouts out to robotmeadows here, this one is dedicated to them!
i would definitely like to explore more of this - especially with more time on my hands than just a few hours, i'm not doing the original justice here... but yeah, more ambient LSDJ bangers need to happen :o)

still rockin' formats i really like! LSDJ is so much more tolerable for longer periods now that i have an analogue pocket. the screen is night-and-day different, plus i can put it in Color mode

Feels like the music is trying really hard to push through *something* to get to you. These are the kind of arpeggios that I could just immerse myself in, like a sonic shower. Feels like I'm falling through time and space, and have actually already reached the singularity, and this is the sound of my mind struggling to deal with it all.
