wow, the stuff about 1min in that sounds like "a live rock band" is really cool. that's an interesting sound to achieve on snes! are they small samples of exactly that, or is it something with the echo filters, or what? :0

It's one sample using 44% of the available RAM while the echo eats up 20%. The sample is a shitty mobile phone recording* but is helped by the echo filter.

*from the early days and likely intended for voice not music

I believe abandon-wobble, atx-happy, snesmod, and spr-basic use at least one song and atx-street-fighter has multiple songs.

I still need to update that with the code I've been using to handle multiple sound drivers.
