I really like that melody with the slow attack chords that starts around 1:45. The unchanging drum pattern makes it sound like traveling/walking music, which is very fitting, judging from the title.

Didn't expect that, but it's pretty solid, and some sections of lead melody are really good too :)

To be fair, one of my entries to this compo has the loop-loop-fade convention. But, I think we need to stray beyond convention and actually ask of ourselves whether a loop enriches a piece or if it makes the song drag and go on too long, rather than just doing it because 'its expected'. I think you could stand to either accept or reject cc with a llittle bit more maturity in the future.

Well, i assume DevEd's reply wasn't totally serious, as I remember him saying his songs always get tagged as "loopy" and this doesn't even surprise him anymore ;)
