I tried channeling a little Conquest of the Crystal Palace here. There were some chords during the intro bit that sounded like Megaman to me after I plopped them down. I offered them a job.

In VRC7 I used some soft chord backing for the intro, a little extra bass, and a kick.

i like this, although me thinks the VRC7 could be utilized a little more for some extra pizazz! Gotta love some 2a03 action though.
