I started writing this tune over last december, It started as a sort of 'Battle' Vibe where I was going to have Gameboy and another instrument like guitar battling it out. but I had too much fun messingt with different sounds in LSDJ I just stuck with that in the end. I went for some Saxy sort of sounds in the verses for the little licks, then went kinda crazy with drums and percussion stuff in the middle for some breakbeat and vinyl scratch type effects!

the way the pulses swap back and forth between high-up melodic parts and the core rhythm is really satisfying. I think it really helps glue the tune and it would work sooo well as an actual boss fight theme because of it!

Great work. Nice funky swing to it.
The solo at 1:51 is amazing and then it gets even crazier at 2:16
love hearing a SNES sample from one of the all-time greatest games in there!

"Jam" is the perfect word to describe this, it is very much a jam!! I like the little amen break interludes, not overdone, just enough to whet the whistle!
