Special thanks to stupe and mioh for directly and indirectly encouraging me to finish something and to lasertooth for the great battle idea. I love comics!

As others have mentioned, this feels very authentically newspaper-comicky and I can't put my finger on why. The lettering is part of it.

Lots of great details here. My favorites:
1. the chord symbol accompanying the headslam in panel II
2. the way the panels get progressively more askew (presumably as the time pressure ramps up?) before snapping back to normal at the end
3. the use of cut-off text in panels II and IV
4. the character's outfit matching your avatar

@lasertooth you accurately captured all my intentions and the thought process here including the skewampus frames.

I wanted the writing in particular to come across newspapery, and I'm glad it did

Thanks all for the feedback!
