SRB2er, the MT-32 is a totally different beast from later PCM sound modules— The voice architecture is based around layering real-time synthesized waveforms with PCM sounds. So there is the flexibility to produce up to 32 generated saws/square waves, or 32 PCM sounds at once, usually a mixture of the two.
It's quite deep and highly editable :)

my only complaint is that some of the trance saws have pretty weak chords but I can only imagine you were trying to squeeze as much as you could out of the MT-32.

brilliant, this is a fun track and your custom voices sound great! the saws are quite convincing to me at evoking the style you're after. sometimes i think they're a little at-odds with the mt32 reverb, but there isn't a whole lot you can do about that, especially since the reverb is good for some of the other parts. i didn't really mind! great work! always happy to see what you're doing with this machine!
