Some folks, here particularly, may be familiar with rob2612, who used to make a bunch of funky OPN2 and OPM tunes (I believe) when VGM Music Maker was the tracker of choice for Sega tunes. rob was one of the first artists I listened to and said, "I want to make music that sounds like THAT," and I still love listening to their tracks on Soundcloud, YouTube, and anywhere I can find it.

It's to my understanding, though, that they kinda went radio silent at one point and haven't made music since, so this track is dedicated to them — in hopes that they're chilling somewhere on a beach maybe, just taking some time to enjoy life. Some of the jazzy chord stabs and that swing groove are definitely a collective homage to rob's work.
