(i spent literally 10 minutes putting the song on loop while trying to think of a good aym pun for a title)
Also the first full song I made with AY/YM. I tried to figure out Vortex Tracker - but I didn't, so I used a tracker called Arkos Tracker instead. It uses YM and not SND, but it was easier to use so

BTW is Arkos easier/more straightforward than Vortex? I did my track in Vortex but I'm down to check out more trackers for the future!

Arkos Tracker's GUI is basically FamiTracker's, and as someone who spends a lot of their time in FT makes it easier to learn. I'd recommend it, but again it uses YM so I'm not sure exactly what the limits are there to SND / VTII.

AFAIK, .YM format is just the YM2149's innate abilities (that is, the noise, square tone, and buzzer), without any timer effects from a CPU. SND format is Atari ST/TT/Falcon specific, and includes all the CPU-centric techniques. So, it's more along the lines of writing a "true" AY/YM tune.

Also, neat track & pun.
