Written and recorded on LSDJ 9.4.0 running on BGB emulator. Custom sample kits were used, namely "AMEN" and "UBKKSN" curtesy of DEFENSE MECHANISM !

My original inspiration for the song was "Infinite Space" by Emerson, Lake and Palmer. I tried to play it on the piano, and it made me want to write a Gameboy song with a 7/4 riff and quartal harmony. In the end I think the song found its own identity, and I'm really glad how nice and smooth the grooves and melodies sound despite the odd time signature. I also used lots of augmented chords because I think they sound dope !!!

2:45 this particular slow arp just hits different
the part right after sounds like your lying on grass, thinking about this whole thing that's just happened and omggggg it's so guuuddddd
