Not A City Boy, Vol. 2

3 more tracks for the album Not A City Boy! I plan to go back and do a GBA mix of the original entry
, as well as the cut song, "Half And Half Past Noon," for Decadent Decade. There was also a song that I couldn't fit in the ROM which needed to be chopped up and played back as a sequence of samples due to the sheer number of channels the .it file used, which I plan to release the original .it file for in a major battle in the future. I'm also also hoping to add a track that plays before the two songs featured in the original Winter Chip entry.
TRACKS:
1. Walk The Talk
2. Slum Shady
3. It Goes Silent In The Night
EDIT: Thanks to the Dot Matrix Girl herself, I am have hardware rendor
EDIT EDIT: I removed the GBA intro, felt a little tacky

@goluigi
Honestly I'm surprised I was able to fit this much sample in 8MB! Despite being 8-bit samples when you factor that most of these are at or above a 21024hz sample rate and sometimes in stereo pairs without any file compression I had to do a lot of editing to some loops to optimize them

For example, the wakka guitar loop that plays had a bunch of silences because the sounds inside of it were so short so I literally stored each note in the sequence as its own sample, trimmed out the silences and played each note in the sequence back separately, which worked well because I could then play that chopped sequence back at any tempo w/o timestretching
Some samples I actively choose not to do this because of reverb tails / release envelopes being too long so it made more sense to make those samples as long as possible because thehe release tails would naturally fade into the next note, making individual samples less viable given channel constraints and such
Thank you for coming to my ted talk
Also I tried to make an effort to re-use samples between tracks a bit more than I usually wld for a project like this one
EDIT: oh it also helps that I wrote some code to use max settings in maxmod in terms of sample rate and channels. So the CPU might be screaming on hardware xD

I would have scored with so many more in-game girls if this had been the soundtrack to Urban Yeti.

One of my fav songs on the site. Did not know the GBA soundchip could do this. Then again, I've only listened to the castlevania: circle of the moon OST

WOW, I thought I accidentally put on my Jamiroquai playlist! Definitely did not expect something like this happening, but it's fully welcome! So much character and energy in three quick tracks, great work =)

P. S. Please let me know as soon as your album is done
