Hey so I don't have an aux cord also my guitar/bass inputs are broken so even if I had a quarter inch cable I would still be here. Ultimately I recorded electric guitar strings straight up with a microphone w/o amplification so the noise floor is less of a floor and more of a ceiling so there you go. I need to learn to solder soon.

also my neck hurts, and i'm not talking about the guitar :B
