Ooooo this looks so cool, i'd love to compete in a battle like this :0
The legendary Nintendo World Championships that took place in 1990, despite having taken place over 30 years ago, still lingers in the minds of players as an iconic point in video game history. But, just for a moment, allow me to take you back to a contest they didn't want you to know about, just 2 years after. It was in this brief window that three consoles and a game coexisted in relevance, making up the four great Nintendo music formats. It is with these four sound systems that a new battle began, to see who would become 1992's greatest Nintendo Chip Champion... this is that battle.
Formats:
Nintendo:
-nsf
-gameboy
-spc
-mariopaint
-pixel (either limited to graphics restrictions of above consoles, or themed like advertisements for the event)
Voting Categories:
-playing with power
-playing it loud
-changing the system
-getting into it
-nintendo power in pants

My main goal with this idea was to have one of each kind of the Nintendo-based formats present, and when I thought about it, they all were relevant in some way around the same time at one point (when Mario Paint came out in July of 1992, Famicom games from Nintendo were still coming out, like Fire Emblem Gaiden just a few months before in March, so it was still somewhat relevant next to it's younger siblings Gameboy and SFC). I can't say I expect all 4 music categories to get even amounts of entries, so I wouldn't theme it in such a way as the formats vying for dominance over one another or anything. I also didn't want to add extensions of these formats, since then there'd be like 5 formats for NES and 2 for mario paint stuff, but still only 1 each for SNES and Gameboy.
And yes I made the image in MSPaint and Paint3D. You may laugh.
