Microsoft GS synth must be used for mp3 rendering, as it's the only way to make it consistent across everybody. Here's one I did using using FL studio, for example: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1_u78ZroyGBItwYVBz6zFWcm1hx4S4HwE

Why is the bass so quiet :(
It's barely audible, otherwise it's got some nice ideas in it but looped chord progression gets tiresome rather quickly, and overall the song just begs for some variation / contrasting sections to build and keep the listener's interest.

Also don't want to be that person, but your render isn't from MSGS, did you use some different synth?

I'm a hobbyist by nature, a better chiptune-ist by default. I'm not too familiar with FLStudio's midi nuances as I just plug in a chord an external cord to a midi instrument and stick with that. The rendering to .mp3 option apparently silences the track as I did this in FLStudio completely with "midi"., so I found a workaround with an online converter. I'd reup if somebody enlightened me on how to get this rendered right.

Quick and dirty how2MSGS (actually DirectMusic /w GM.DLS) render in FL Studio:

1. Assuming you already have 16 or less channels, each one with MIDI OUT plug-in on it and the same output port set - if not, do that first obviously.
2. Insert Fruity LSD an an insert effect on any mixer channel (since you're not gonna be doing anything else with its output, you can put it on the master)
3. Set the input channel number on LSD so that it matches the output channel of MIDI OUT plugins.
4. Compose the song and render as usual.

Note: Rendering this way might not be 100% faithful to playing it using the regular MSGS output, since DirectMusic, which LSD uses, has considerably higher max polyphony, so if you want to be 100000% accurate, just export the final song to MIDI, and record from external player
