oh jeez, fully coloured n everything!! :o
Sometimes when you're tired and driving long stretches, like a 5 hour drive to the next city, you start to feel a little tired, so one method to try to wake yourself up is to crank up a little bit of high tempo rock. Maybe that's not enough, though, so maybe you blast the AC to shiver yourself awake a bit more. Sometimes that's still not enough, so you crack the windows open and let the wind physically hit you at high speed. My highway average is 80 MPH. One sec, I'll do the KPH conversion for you folks with more sensible measuring units. A bit over 128 KPH. Ok. Wow, that sounds even more irresponsible. ANYWAY, sometimes exhaustion has too strong a grip on you and the struggle to stay awake is a literal life or death situation because I'm not staying at another roadside no-tell motel where there'll be unlaminated wooden floors with all sorts of crap caked into the beam's grain and blood stained towels. I told them I wanted non smoking and they stuck me in a room that stinks of a chain smoker's last stand. So no, I will not stop to try and sleep. I'm waking myself up the way any hot blooded American would. I'm pulling over and DOING PUSH UPS.
Here's Tronk. He's never slept.
