the way how you sing the sun won't go out on its own is such a mood
enjoyed the tune very much!
enjoyed the tune very much!
Recorded in ableton, with several plugins and samples which were played live on my computer keyboard with no MIDI note editing quantizing what-have-you etc. Tried to exercise as much restraint as possible when it came to doing retakes, although I could do a lot better on that front lol, the drums were a pain in the arse especially!! I also don’t have a MIDI keyboard so doing some chords proved difficult. All the piano was played in my school’s music room—due to the distance between there and my computer, I recorded that on my phone. Some of that was then chopped and spliced up and then played back live with a sampler in ableton. The arpeggio I played at the end of the intro shows up later but sped up, keep an ear out for it!! Something I want to experiment more with future liveplay entries is recording several tracks at once. I recorded my voice and the piano sampler thingy at the same time for the improvised ending, had a lot of fun with that, but i think i could go further with that for future entries!

Look inside of your heart
And you will find that
You’re the one who holds the key
Look through the stained-glass pane
The voices in the rain
The sky won’t fall down on its own you know so
Say it isn’t so
When the world comes apart
And love grows sparser
Don’t you doubt the love from me
All the pieces in place
And now to fit them
Only you can set you free
Look inside of your heart
And you will realize
You’re the one who holds the key
Look through the stained-glass pane
The voices in the rain
The sun won’t go out on its own you know so
Say it isn’t so
Look through the stained-glass pane
The voices in the rain
