In a Trance of two decades
A 90s Disco themed song made in OpenMPT. Inspiration for this song came right after listening to the crunchy 808 hats and kicks in an OST of an amiga game: Super Stardust. Time travellers will know I talk about that game too much.
What a godsend of a sample i found digging through the mod archives. the piano string sample carried this entire song, with its incredible versatility. Can't forget the drum samples and the bass, simply immaculate.
All it took was a few short listens to what new entries people were cooking.. I got humbled very quick, for the millionth time I've been on this site. But i got a massive spark of inspiration from that, and from there I tried my absolute best (which, I don't do that often, kind of)
Anyway, twas cool. hope i get at least second to last place this major.
