The Chipmusic faithful have put too much emphasis on nostalgia and not enough on finding the real limits of an instrument or daring to find the boundary where the chipmusic sound stops being chipmusic. This song also does nothing of the sort, I'm simply venting because I'm starting to become bored of this kind of sound. Made with VSTs that have nothing to do with chipmusic and a lot of bitcrushers and compressors in Renoise.

I'm sure I am, to be honest I'm pleased with most of what I'm hearing here in WC7; the precise trend I'm bored of was mentioned elsewhere, I'd rather not dwell on it here.

To be more honest, I think I've observed my own musical tastes drifting in a different direction. We'll see.
