I find the idea of games based on mundane tasks really amusing, and the fact that the stakes here amount to "do you get the cheaper bread, or the more expensive one?" contributes to that.
I also enjoy that the walkthrough encourages you to memorize the map of level 3, but does not provide any assistance for doing so, which turns out to be fine because the solution is "walk in a straight line".
The way you prominently referred to the colors of all the relevant objects ("purple letters", "red cars", "orange bush") is making the puzzle-solving part of my brain go haywire, but if there is a hidden pattern I'm not seeing it.
