mmm, that sub bass is so~ good!!
lovely atmosphere, the forest sounds are a great addition, and great mixing too.

the only thing this track is missing for me was some kind of additional hook -- like a lead melody, drum solo, interesting fx, or anything else to give the track a bit more juice -- especially in sections B1 and A2. Another thing that might help with that is having the pad chords change on different beats rather than always on the down beats.

Overall a very solid jam though! One of my favorites of the renoise entries.

maybe i'm crazy, but i feel like i'm hearing some limiter ducking even on just the birdsong at the beginning? maybe that's just the recording itself. i can see it being a deliberate choice with how beautifully blown out the distorted bass is in the rest of the song, but it felt a little jarring with just the natural sound. or maybe i'm hearing things lol.

anyway - crazy cool atmosphere - i would've loved some more development or changes too but this was a zone i was happy to exist in for a few minutes regardless

Hmm I did preprocess the bird sfx, though I don't remember doing more than 1db on the limiter. Lots of saturation though.

I agree the track could use some little melodic motifs. I just wanted to ship it and move on hehe
