i like how the arp hits are paired with the snare sound at the end of a segment, and it's nice that the melody lines are long

Nice, I like this more than your other racing entry. Nice lead, cool rhythms, good melodic progression. I dig it dude, keep it up! One little nitpick, you could try varying up the patches to get some different sounds, like on the lead for example, you could try using a different duty cycle on parts, to make it sound like two instruments trading off leads, instead of one constant lead. I recommend copying your file, and trying out some techniques like that and see if you like it.
