On April 2nd, 2026, days before Decadent Decade ][ would close until the next 10 years would pass, a message is sent to damifortune at 1:27PM in Las Vegas, Nevada while a certain 02fd is wrapping up vacation with their family:
"when u made FINAL FRONTIER ~ Overture to Brilliant Goldrifle, did u pay any attention to instrument ranges with the instruments you were emulating? was thinking about covering it for dd2, so I wanted to check and make sure I'm not gonna run into any range issues"
The answer to this question is not important. It would later be discovered that this song was, if by accident or by emulating its sound closely without even knowing if it was indeed possible, nearly perfect for adapting to the orchestra.
However, at this point, the snag with finishing the song had already started.
02fd had fallen ill with a horrible sinus infection.
